With the glorious spring heat beaming, one of React’s keen runners, Rob Harris, set off on the world famous TCS London Marathon in the midst of the hustle and bustle of runners, all raring to take on the ultimate challenge of endurance. After months of rigorous training, Rob was feeling the toll of the many long distance runs which caused a hip injury and threatened to pull him out of the race. Nevertheless, spurred on by the hard work spent in preparation, and the cause which had led him to take on the challenge in the first place, Rob’s determination remained unabated and he completed the 26.2 miles in 6 hours and 16 minutes, by running and walking through the pain.

Rob’s stellar efforts made all the difference, raising a magnificent £3,009 for children living with life-shortening illnesses. These vital funds will go directly to families in need of life-changing equipment, and Rob is a true champion for our cause. React sends sincere thanks to Rob and all who donated.
