React was thrilled when long-time supporters, the Pike Aglers’ Club (PAC), once again met up towards the end of the fishing season to do what they love most: catching freshwater pike whilst raising essential funds for terminally ill children. This event marked the 10th annual get together for React’s cause and the group has proved invaluable for our families, whom they are hooked on helping.

Organised by Clive Melhuish and the fellow members of the PAC and the Lincoln & District Angling Association, the sunny spring event raised much needed funds for gravely ill children. Whilst the weather was too glorious to be optimal fishing conditions, a handful of appetising specimens were caught, boosting the team’s eagerness to raise as much as possible for React’s families.

At the end of the long and eventful day of angling and championing React’s work to all passersby interested in the anglers’ cause, the budding group of philanthropic fishermen had raised a fantastic £325 for our families, used to provide essential equipment for seriously ill children in Lincolnshire.

React sends sincere thanks to Clive and all who participated on the day for and, if you feel inspired to start a fundraiser for React’s cause please do not hesitate to get in touch: react@reactcharity.org
