A Hike of Your Life to Aid Terminally Ill Children
There are few endeavours which match the challenge of trekking in the Himalayas, a prospect taken on by only the most determined hikers. Not to be deterred, ambitious adventurer, Aaron Lee, took on the hike of his life in a gruelling expedition up to Mt Everest base camp, in aid of React to provide basic essential equipment for terminally ill children.

Aaron embarked in the middle of winter, bravely scaling the treacherous mountain in temperatures as low as -30C to successfully reach Everest base camp in Nepal and raising £1,647 for gravely ill children in the process. Drawing inspiration from our work, Aaron told us: “I chose React for its transparency and focus on immediate, practical impact, and I know that each donation will directly improve the lives of terminally ill children and their families.”
React families desperately need equipment to care for their terminally ill children and we are truly grateful to Aaron for this remarkable achievement, enabling the charity to reach more of those who need us.
