During the coronavirus pandemic, many traditional fundraising activities such as sponsored events, challenges and village fairs were cancelled or postponed, meaning fundraisers have come up with some creative new ways to raise money.

One such fundraiser, thinking ‘outside the box’ is Rachel Lawrence, who thought of the ingenious idea of making and selling handmade face masks. These have proven to be such a hit, that they raised an impressive £200 for React families. Rachel’s work has not only brought in much-needed funds, but also helped to keep us all safe.

Many of our families have been shielding from the outside world since March and React sends its sincere thanks to Rachel.
