Richmond Bridge club supports UK Childrens Charity

React was delighted to be the benefitting charity for the second Richmond Café Bridge which this year involved just over 300 bridge players in 14 restaurants – the largest Café bridge event in the UK.

The planning,  organisation and execution of the event was exemplary and we would like to give our special thanks to Marietta and Lee and all the other stewards and volunteers from Richmond Bridge Club ; and to Victor Lesk and his team.

We would also like to endorse Richmond Bridge Club’s thanks to the following restaurants for their participation in making Richmond Cafe Bridge 2017 so successful. Restaurants below were either playing venues or Raffle Prize Givers or in many cases both. The Railway Tavern, Don Fernando’s, Carluccio’s, One Kew Road, Buenos Aires Argentine Steakhouse, La Buvette, Pizza Express, Jackson & Rye, The Old Ship, Cote, Chez Lindsay, Bills, Thai Elephant, The Duke, Yo Sushi, Adesso, Thai Upon Thames, May’s Chinese Cuisine & The Alba.

Our thanks must also go to the following people who supplied great prizes for the silent auction – Andrew Robson Bridge Club, Excel Bridge Luxury Breaks, Tim Cotterill (Frogman Bronzes), Mike Bell, James Thrower, Tom Paske, Dessy Malakova & Stefan Skorchev.

The proceeds from the event have already exceeded £4000 which will make such a difference to the families React assists.
