‘CIBC’s Miracle Day’ to Benefit React Families
CIBC Children Foundation’s Miracle Day to Benefit React Families
React is delighted to have been selected as one of three charities, along with Chance UK and The Sick Children’s Trust, to benefit from the support of CIBC Children Foundation’s Miracle Day.
This year, celebrating its 30th anniversary, CIBC’s Miracle Day enabled staff to donate their fees and commissions to their chosen children’s charities. The day was attended by a number of celebrities including Sir Derek Jacobi CBE and Downton Abbey’s, Jim Carter. Working alongside celebrities and charity mascots on the bustling trading floor, everyone took part in fundraising activities to raise money for good causes.
In the 30 years since its inception, Miracle Day has had a profound impact on the lives of so many disadvantaged children. React would like to thank CIBC for it’s phenomenal support and for sharing in React’s belief that every child should have comfort, dignity and the opportunity to participate in life as fully as possible, no matter how short that life may be.
Sir Derek Jacobi CBE, “CIBC have provided such fantastic support to each of the charities and through their generosity and fundraising efforts, even more children in desperate need will have access to the care they deserve. It was an exciting and action-packed day and I am delighted to help.”
